Conover Hardware has proudly served Conover, North Carolina and the greater Catawba County area since March 1974. Founded by Bobby Matthews, the store began with a simple goal — to meet the growing hardware and home improvement needs of our local community right in the heart of downtown Conover.
More than 50 years later, Conover Hardware continues to thrive — still family-owned, still locally operated, and still committed to the same values that built our reputation as a trusted community partner. Today, the business is led by Penny Matthews, daughter of Bobby Matthews.
